Are you a people person? Do you find you have something in common with almost everyone you meet? If so, we are looking for you. In this volunteer position, you are partnered with a senior looking to stay engaged in the community. Your only responsibility is to be a reliable friend to them. This is a great opportunity for someone recently retired, a college student looking to expand their resume, or someone who’d enjoy a new friend.

Your senior friend welcomes you with gratitude and smiles (and often chocolate). Our seniors are life-long learners and want to stay engaged by meeting new people. Flexible hours to fit your schedule.

This is our greatest success as a program. It strengthens community ties and is key to keeping seniors from feeling isolated.

We provide the training necessary for you to be successful in making this meaningful connection in your life. Great opportunity for someone training in the medical field to gain the perspective of how to age well at home.
