The Bristol CT Public School Mentor Program has been in existance for 25 years and takes place during the school day or in our elementary after-school program in our schools grades K-12. Our mentors are from all walks of life and go into our schools for one hour every week and provide our students with a one-on-one relationship that provides friendship, builds their self esteem, reawakens their drive to achieve, provides a positive role model and rekindles hope. Does it work? Yes! Do we need more committed mentors? Yes! The one- hour-per-week commitment makes it a great doable opportunity. Please consider joining our very special team.
