The National Susan B. Anthony Museum and House is closed temporarily during the COVID-19 crisis. In an effort to protect the health of our community and minimize the stress on our medical facilities, all Anthony Museum events and activities have been postponed or canceled.

Mission Statement

The National Susan B. Anthony Museum & House interprets the legacy of the great reformer to inspire and challenge individuals to make a positive difference in their lives and communities. We preserve and share the National Historic landmark that was her home and headquarters, collect and exhibit artifacts related to her life and work, and offer tours and interpretive programs to share her story with the world.

Description

BECOME A VOLUNTEER at the National Susan B. Anthony Museum & House and you'll be our ambassador for the thousands of visitors who come here each year. As a docent, you'll lead visitors on tours of the House, educating the public about Susan B. Anthony's life as a champion of women's rights. As a Museum Shop volunteer, you'll welcome guests as a cashier in the museum gift shop. As a Receptionist, you will greet guests from around the world as the enter the Visitor Center. We have a variety of volunteer positions. Our volunteers help us achieve our mission of inspiring other through Susan B. Anthony's life and work, and challenging all who come here to continue her legacy by making a positive difference in their lives and communities.
