Do you want to learn about service provided by nonprofits throughout Westchester? Do you like to have conversations with interesting people? Interview individuals regarding their interests, then refer them to appropriate volunteer assignments using our database of volunteer opportunities. In office assignments available Fridays during business hours, or you can work from your home at your convenience (will need a computer to work from home)!

Description
The Volunteer Center matches individuals and groups to meaningful volunteer opportunities that address critical community needs in nonprofits throughout Westchester and Putnam, and also runs a wide range of volunteer driven programs in areas such as emergency preparedness, conflict resolution, job readiness, etc.
