Come join us as a volunteer and put your health profession, teaching, or ministerial skills to use to help the elderly and/or disabled! We are looking for people-professioned volunteers to help us perform intakes on potential recipients. Here at ICS, we train and empower volunteers to perform an initial health evaluation on potential recipients to receive assistance from our many services. Our goal is to support seniors and the disabled to stay independent and in their own homes. Your committment would be 1-2 times a month and approximately 3 hours per evaluation. You can perform your evaluations when you have time available; we are very flexible in setting dates and times. Volunteers are needed for zip codes: 48, 49, 30, 10, 12, 15, 16, and 11.

Interfaith Community Services is a non-profit agency that helps seniors, disabled individuals and people in financial crisis in Pima County achieve stable and independent lives though support from over 950 volunteers, 109 faith communities and the community-at-large. We share a common belief that our diverse faiths call us to serve those in need. Our services and volunteer opportunities are open and welcoming to all regardless of faith tradition. We remain true to our founding value of helping those in need with "Love, Cooperation and Service."
Description
Our multiple services are often the "safety net" that help our recipients remain or become stabilized, enabling them to lead independent lives. We are providing services for thousands of people in need. Over the past year, we have provided 45,714 services, over 20.034 individuals were served and provided $650,098 of financial services.
