Lint Center for National Security Studies

The Lint Center for National Security Studies is seeking individuals with strong writing and editing skills to assist in the Center's blog expansion campaign.

Bloggers, Writers/Contributors: Volunteers who are interested can be writers and contributors to content building on the blog itself by drafting and providing weekly, monthly, or quarterly contributions. For most blogs quantity can be the driving motivation. However, the Center is more focused on quality; well thought out, rigorously researched, and timely pieces of consequence (non-ideological, non political).

Editors: Volunteers who wish to assist with editing will serve in a critical position to ensure that submissions to the blog adhere to the Center's quality, content, and focus standards. Individuals in volunteering in such a capacity will be responsible for pre screening entries, providing feedback and recommendations to those that submit regarding proper adherence to submission guidelines, and will be responsible for editing and fact checking submissions. Note: Editors may also contribute to the blog; an impartial Center review committee to ensure objectivity will review submissions.

In addition to securing a strong resume bullet for being a published author or for being an editor of a consequential Think-Tanks blog, hours spent on this project may be added toward a nomination for the Presidential Volunteer Service Award Program for which the Lint Center is an officially recognized and authorized awarding non-profit for such awards.

As a minority and veteran owned and managed non-profit, backed by the dedication of an all-volunteer force with not a single paid staff member, the Lint Center could certainly use your assistance, if you are up for a worthwhile challenge.

Please contact the Lint Center if you have any questions or if you are interested in learning more. Thank you.
