Learn about living while listening to the stories of and companioning those near the end-of-life.

Being a compassionate presence for those isolated near the end is a priviledge and a special calling. Your visits will be a gift for those whose lives and living have become limited. Learn and practice effective communication skills while being a friendly visitor, a helping hand with errands or chores, a grief supporter, a specialized care provider (massage, manicures, art, music or pet therapy, etc.) or an office/clerical volunteer.

Volunteering does not involve any skilled personal care work.

Flexible scheduling around your availability and mobility in the metro area.

Add fullness and meaning to your life while enriching the lives of others.

Be nurtured in your practice of compassionate presence through these unique experiences with our on-going support and learning. Join one of the few local, not-for-profit, faith-based hospices serving those of all faiths and beliefs or none.

Mission Statement

We serve our families and one another as humble servants no matter what religion, ethnicity or culture. Our mission is rooted in the Christian heritage of the Covenant Church and has been about promoting and helping people achieve maximum well-being. Hospice of Covenant Care is reflective of a spirit and idea of caring and serving that emphasizes comfort, companionship and dignity both for the patient and the family and/or friends. Our underlying values include respect for every person, the dignity of all people, and fairness and justice as expressed by the Golden Rule.

Description

We are a young, not-for-profit, faith-based hospice serving families of all faiths and backgrounds in the Denver Metro area. Through our services we support those facing a life-limiting illness, while embracing the wholeness of their life with Grace and Love. We do this with exceptional care, compassion and with a focus on respect and dignity. We are not a place (we go to where ever the client lives) but a comprehensive care provider meeting the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the family. While we are experts in physical comfort measures, we aim to help our patients and families live the best possible lives, according to their wishes, until the end. We are not too big to facilitate meaningful time and enriched lives for our families.
