Your passion and our training will prepare you to become a Vigil Volunteer. Heartland Hospice needs you to sit with patients as they are dying. As one of these special volunteers you will be a presence in the room, offer music, readings, prayer, healing touch and support the family. We have patients across Hamilton, Butler, and Clermont Counties. Being a hospice vigil volunteer is such a rewarding experience, families are always grateful when we have vigil volunteers to help relieve some of the burden from the family. Being a vigil volunteer is such a rewarding thing, families appreciate the extra help at the end stage of their family members life.
