ServiceNation will unite leaders from every sector of American society with hundreds of thousands of citizens in a national campaign to call on the next President and Congress to enact a new era of service and citizenship in America, an era in which all Americans will work together to try and solve our greatest and most persistent societal challenges. Our vision is twofold: to engage 1 million Americans in full or part time service by 2020 and to build an ethic of service in American society.

On September 27th, communities across the country will share their stories of service and call on our leaders to expand service opportunities. Together, on this national Day of Action, thousands of Americans will express their belief in the power of service.

We are looking for citizen organizers to

- engage your community at one of hundreds of events across America
- lay out the ServiceNation vision
- call on your friends, families, and neighbors to sign the ServiceNation Declaration of Service and enlist in the ServiceNation advocacy campaign that will call upon our leaders--in Washington, in local communities, at every Town Hall--to take action.

Citizen Organizers will plan Day of Action events or join event steering committees in communities across the country.
