If you enjoy driving and meeting new people then we have the perfect opportunity for you! Volunteers are needed to deliver hot meals to homebound seniors in various communities: Bath, Addison, Corning, Hornell, Wayland, Jasper, & Prattsburgh. Volunteers serve 6-8 clients on an assigned route. Delivery only takes 1- 1.5 hrs. Be a driver or be a visitor! Either way, make someone's day.

Volunteers make a difference!
AmeriCorps Seniors of Steuben County provides opportunities for people ages 55 and over to make a significant impact in their communities through volunteering. Volunteers contribute anywhere from a few hours a month to over 40 hours a week serving in their communities. Opportunities to serve include volunteering at local hospitals and nursing homes, schools, food pantries, public safety programs, and other nonprofit agencies and organizations. RSVP staff assist volunteers in sharing their experience, abilities and skills for the betterment of the community and themselves. Volunteer orientation, on-site training, supplemental insurance (while on duty), and mileage reimbursement are free services available for RSVP volunteers.
