Have you ever created or authored an article at Wikipedia? If so, you know the power of this important community-based interactive encyclopedia.
Despite the fact that VolunteerMatch is quoted or referenced in many articles about volunteering and nonprofit organization, there does not currently exist an article about us. It's time to change that!
Wikipedia does not recommend that organizations write their own article, so we are currently looking for a web-savvy writer to research and write an article about VolunteerMatch and our award-winning web community.
Ultimately, we are not looking to edit or correct your work. But we will encourage you to do a great job and provide you with plenty of resources to do so.
This should be a fun way to support civic engagement in local communities by raising awareness about an organization that is making a difference.
Requirements:
Interest in promoting volunteering and civic engagement.
Appreciation for Web-based networking and communities.
