Travel Diary in a T-Shirt Quilt
Quilt created from t-shirts collected around the world. As a special request from a patient's husband, a Gentiva volunteer assembled 36 t-shirts to make this fabulous quilt as a reminder of their worldwide travels.

Comfort a KINDRED hospice patient with your handiwork! Use your imagination to bring a smile to a hospice patient.

If you can sew a straight line, you can make a lap blanket, pillow, shawl, hand grip, or clothing protector for a hospice patient.

Immediate needs:
Neck pillows (patterns available)
Hand grips (patterns available)
Clothing protectors (adult bibs, patterns available)
Activity mats

Opportunity to work at home to help hospice patients.
Great project for community or church group, sewing circle or quilters.

Description

Gentiva Hospice is a team of professionals who provide care to patients and families with end of life needs. As key members of the care team, volunteers expand and enhance hospice services for our patients. Volunteers bring special skills and talents to share with patients, and offer comfort through companionship visits, administrative assistance and special projects for patients and their families.
