Body Worlds 3 & The Story of the Heart:
Take an eye-opening journey through the inner workings of the human body. The California premiere of BODY WORLDS 3 & The Story of the Heart features over 200 authentic human specimens including whole body plastinates not seen before, organs, translucent body slices, and for the first time - a special presentation on the heart. The exhibit will be open from March 14, 2008 through September 7, 2008. Volunteer shifts are available in the morning, afternoon and evening, Monday through Sunday. Shifts will be assigned on a first come, first served basis. Orientation and training is provided.More opportunities with California Science Center

Description
The California Science Center is a modern facility with all-new interactive exhibits and programs, and a seven story IMAX Theater with 3D capabilities. This exciting environment makes for an extraordinary learning experience for guests of all ages. Interested teens and adults can provide assistance in several different ways including stimulating an interest in science by facilitating and encouraging hands-on learning in our educational exhibits; by assisting our curators with the plant and animal life; or by providing our guests with a warm welcome and answering questions. As a California Science Center volunteer you can enjoy many special benefits including free parking, specialized group or individual training, previews of exhibits, invitations to special events and activities. Volunteers also have an opportunity to earn free Explorer Level Membership. The minimum age for volunteers is 16. Opportunities are available 7 days a week and experience is not necessary, only the desire and willingness to be of service, to learn, and share what you learn with our guests.
