GOTR

We are looking for a self-motivated, detail-orientated, & highly organized individual who is able to craft funding proposals in a clear and compelling, persuasive manner communicating Girls on the Run's mission and programs to potential funders. Candidates must have excellent writing, analytical, and research skills. Non-profit & Government grant writing experience preferred ,but not required.
To ensure EVERY girl can participate in our program, regardless of socioeconomic situations, our Grant Writers are an integral part of ensuring NO girl gets turned away by providing scholarship opportunities.

Mission Statement

We inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running.

Description

Trained coaches lead small teams through our research-based curricula which includes dynamic discussions, activities, & running games. Over the course of the ten-week program, girls in 3rd-8th grade develop essential skills to help them navigate their worlds and establish a lifetime appreciation for health and fitness. Our program culminates with girls positively impacting their communities through a community service project and being physically & emotionally prepared to complete a celebratory 5K event.
