Our Caregivers Friendly Visitor volunteers are volunteers who go out and provide friendly visits to the elderly who are unable to get out of their house. This program provides a social outlet to those who otherwise don't have one. We are looking for volunteers who want to build a friendship with someone and simply spend time getting to know them. If you enjoy visiting with people and are looking for a way to give back to your community, this might be a great way to get started. Description
Since 1990 Partners in Hope, inc. has been serving the communities of Troy and Casstown, providing a "Path of Hope" through three areas of service. These areas are relief (meeting immediate needs), education (providing tools and resources that broaden knowledge and inspire change), and development (supporting the journey from crisis based living to a secure and stable lifestyle). In all our programs, we strive to create relationships and partnerships that empower individuals and families to gain self-sustainability.
