One hour a week; that's it! Do you have one hour a week to make a massive difference in someone's life?

Brookdale Deer Park (3801 E Galbraith Road) has two of the most pleasant and kind ladies who are wanting someone to just come and talk with them. And they can talk!! One has 9 brothers and sisters and the other one has 12! They have stories to tell. They both asked me, "please come visit again". I know you would make a huge difference in their lives.

There is no schedule; you visit when it is convenient for you. No set day, just when you feel the desire to give, the desire to see a smile on a 90 or 100 year old face! It's Hospice, so I know that can be scary; but they just want someone to spend a bit of time with them.

It's a rewarding experience and I would love to talk with you more about it. Our residents are everything from retired teachers, police officers, journalist, war Veteran's, housewives to Physicians.
