The elderly ladies of The Villas at Sunny Aces love having their nails done! They may be seniors, but they take great pride in maintaining a "polished" appearance! We are looking for volunteers to bring a spark of energy to the facility while you give our ladies simple manicures (and a little friendly conversation!). Simple manicures consist of removing polish with a cotton ball, filing nails (no clipping), and applying new polish of the patient's choice. Of course this is also a great way to get conversation rolling, and you'll be amazed at some of the ladies you meet! Manicure times are Mondays at 2:00pm, Wednesdays at 10:30am, and Fridays at 3pm. Pick a day/time that works for you, and come as often as your life allows: some volunteers come multiple times a week, some volunteers come once a month! We are happy with both schedules. :) Application/orientation/training can all be completed online, and you'll be volunteering within a week!
