Are you someone who is looking to use your free time in the service of others? Look no further! Midwest Hospice is looking for volunteers, who are currently residing on the West Side of Cincinnati. Areas could include, but are not limited to:
- Price Hill
- Delhi
- Addyson
- Western Hills
- Green Township
- Oak Hills
- Westwood
- Colerain
- North College Hill
- White Oak
We are searching for volunteers who are willing and able to go the extra mile for our patients! We work tirelessly to keep our patients both safe and comfortable. We want our volunteers to be able to carry on this mission. Midwest will reimburse any mileage you may incur in traveling to your volunteering location and cover any training costs. Description
Midwest Hospice is searching for dependable and caring individuals with a desire to enrich their lives and the lives of others to join our volunteer team. We understand that the term "Hospice" is sometimes very intimidating and misunderstood. But the process of providing support for end of life care for those who have reached this stage of their journey, can be a very worthwhile experience. Giving an individual on hospice an enjoyable experience during this time, can be as easy as providing companionship, playing a game, or reading a book. Perhaps you have a special skill or hobby that can be utilized to brighten someone's day like music, arts, or crafts. We offer opportunities volunteering with patient support, respite support, bereavement support, as well as administrative support for those who may feeel more comfortable volunteering in an office setting.
