Greetings!
Apollo Hospice is looking for Chinese speaking volunteer translators (Mandarin, Cantonese and Taiwanese) to help with our Hospice patients and families.
This individual will be responsible for communicating with the staff and clients. They will be making regular visitations with nurses, physicians and social workers. You will be responsible for translating information to the patient clear and concise.
In this position may be involve our "Involve to Evolve" Cultural program where we meet and discuss regularly about cultural diversity and how we can use this program to enhance our healthcare system.

We match volunteers to Hospices where they will excel the most. We offer training and orientation, continued education for all volunteers, certificates of completion and excellence. Whether volunteers are students trying to gain experience or if you just want to give back to the community. We hope that we find individuals who can successfully achieve their goals and provide helpful assistance to Hospice organizations within the Los Angeles County.
Description
Hospice volunteers provide companionship to people living with a serious illness and help their families caregivers in a variety of ways. Hospice also rely on volunteers to help with office work, fund raising, community outreach and other operational areas.
