Viva CalleSJ is back for a third event and is looking for dynamic volunteers!
Viva CalleSJ is a free program that temporarily closes miles of San Jose streets to bring communities together to walk, bike, skate, play and explore the city like never before!
Volunteer before-- or on the date of the event-- Sunday, September 17, 2017
Whether you want to spread the word about Viva CalleSJ, help with setup and tear-down, patrol the route, or monitor an intersection - we need you!

The mission of the Volunteer Management Unit is to create and support opportunities for community participation, in partnership with staff, which support successful completion of projects and programs to enhance the maintenance of public parks and the delivery of services for the benefit of the public.
Description
The City of San Jose Parks, Recreation & Neighborhood Services Division's Volunteer Management Unit serves the community by providing meaningful, safe and inspiring volunteer projects for those that enjoy the healthy benefits of environmental and community service.
