Our patients really look forward to ice cream sundaes on Sundays! Every Sunday, from 2-4pm, our volunteers load up the ice cream cart, and go room to room offering patients a tasty afternoon treat and a little friendly conversation. This is a great opportunity for individuals, small groups, or families! This is a new volunteer position, so right now all weeks of the month are open! You can choose whether yu want the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th week of each month! Since you will be entering patient rooms, a background check is required, for which there is a $20 fee. You can complete all facets of the training/orientation/background check online and be volunteering within a week. If you'd like to stop by for a tour before you commit, that's fine, too- we can easily set that up! Please let me know if you're interested, and I will get back to you within 1 business day.
