Accentcare Hospice & Palliative Care Hillsborough Needs YOU!!! This is a unique volunteer experience for all people from all walks of life, ages 16 and older. You have several ways to provide supportive care as a volunteer: You can visit a patient and provide companionship; reading a book, listening to their favorite songs, movies or simple chatting with them. You can provide vigil or bereavement support.
Practical training provided. Professional instruction by chaplains, nurses, social workers and music therapists. Special track for qualified high school volunteers. Email us today!

Hospice is a special concept of care designed to provide comfort ad support to patients and their families when a life-limiting illness no longer responds to curative treatment. Hospice patients are cared for in their personal residences, assisted living facilities, nursing homes and in contracted inpatient hospital settings.
