Equal Heart re-distributes overstock from local food retailers, directly to individuals, families, and seniors at their apartment complexes. Our goal is to fight hunger by packaging and distributing nutritious grocery boxes to families in need. Feeding 13,000+ people each month takes work and we need your help!
Year-Round / Monday - Friday / 9am-12pm Help pack grocery boxes to be distributed to low income families and support general warehouse cleaning.
Year-Round / Monday - Friday / 1pm-4pm Help carry free 30-50lb grocery boxes for our elderly and disabled clients; address: various apartments in Irving, Grand Prairie, N Dallas, E Dallas, Mesquite, and Garland; *Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs *Must be able to transport self to apartments

Description
We deliver federally funded meals free of charge to children at after-school and summer sites throughout the country. In Dallas, TX, we also provide nutritious food to families year round with our Mobile Food Access Network. Additionally, we engage and empower individuals to facilitate our programs through AmeriCorps.
