Hurricane Food Packing Event

Come join us as we pack bags of emergency food for those who don't have the means to have spend extra funds preparing for hurricane season. Volunteers will be packing shelf stable food and snacks assembly line style in cloth bags should an emergency arise. Each bag will contain a meal for a family of four and include emergency information. Volunteers may be 5 years old through 100 years old to participate. Children under 13 must have a parent ratio of 1 parent per 2 children. We have jobs for everyone!

If you are 55+ we invite you to join our RSVP Program. RSVP volunteers will be packing emergency food bags for clients who receive Meals on Wheels. These bags have food, information and items geared towards home-bound seniors and will be delivered though the MOW program.

This is a great event for parents, grandparents and children to make a difference in Martin County. Bags will be distributed to Martin County nonprofit agencies for delivery to their clients.

Rain or shine event and close toed shoes required. Positions are available for those with limited mobility. Sign up required.
