We provide 2 meals to our elderly and homebound neighbors 5 days a week and we rely on our volunteer drivers to deliver those meals. If you have time between 10:30 and 12 to spare and are looking for an opportunity to make a difference, this is a perfect thing for you!

Mission Statement
The mission of the Montco SAAC is to involve, enrich and empower adults 50 years of age and better to live as independently as possible in our communities.
Description
Montco SAAC is comprised of two senior center facilities and three meals-on-wheels programs.
At our centers, the over 50 population partake in numerous activites and classes to keep brain and body active and maintain social connections.
Seniors can enjoy lunch each day at both centers, located in Norristown and Ambler. We also run meals-on-wheels programs out of those two centers plus a program in Glenside. Those clients receive two meals each day, one hot and one cold. Not only are those folks receiving nutritious meals but also a visit from a caring volunteer who is a friendly face and checks in on them.
We strive to help folks live as independently as possible in our communities.
