Two Coaches teach Matter of Balance classes from an established curriculum for seniors aged participants in a class size up to 15 participants. Classes are weekly for two hours for eight sessions, with all teaching materials provided. Next training in Boulder in April for two full days to receive your certificate to teach this program. CVNA provides the coordination for the program including locating sites for classes, dates that work with both coaches and the location. The classes help participants reduce falls and reduce their fear of falling so they are able to participate in life! Starting with week 3 simple flexion and strengthening exercises are taught and practiced for part of class time that coaches would lead. Master Trainers from Tri-County Health Department are onsite for one class per session and available as needed for questions.
