Hollywood's Diamonds in the Rough, Inc. is looking for dynamic WordPress programming and design volunteers to manage/improve upon our website - www.Diamonds-Golf.org.
Flexible hours are available.
The PERFECT volunteer must have:
- Ability to dedicate 5 hours a week to our projects
- Excellent programming skills and in-depth knowledge ofHTML/CSS/Javascript.
- Knowledge ofWordpressis a must.
- Working knowledge ofPHP/ bootstrapand any other front-end web framework and back end coding languages needed to maintain, change or update the existing CMS.
- Basic knowledge of Adobe CS and Divi theme is a plus
We require at least ONE year of experience and would like to see samples of your work (please provide a link!).

Our mission is to ensure all youth in our local communities, regardless of social and economic backgrounds, have an equal opportunity to uncover their unique potential through personal character lessons discovered while learning the game of golf from professional in a safe, friendly and welcoming environment.
Description
Hollywood’s Diamonds in the Rough, Inc. was established in 1998 through the inspiration and collaborative efforts of a local group of community advocates and golf enthusiasts, which included the Hollywood City Manager’s Office; the Department of Parks, Recreation & Cultural Arts; the Hollywood Police Department ; and Orangebrook Golf and Country Club. The Diamonds organization was created to provide an affordable platform to introduce students, ages 8 to 13, to the game of golf while fostering key life enhancing values through the sport.
Our golf programs are designed for children in elementary and middle school living in the greater Hollywood area. Class A PGA golf professional coaches and professional educators facilitate our character enhancement/building and life skills programs, which serve to reinforce core values while introducing children to the fundamentals of the game of golf.
