Greetings!

Apollo Health Group is looking for a Safety First Ambassador for our Home Health and Hospice department. This position will be visiting facilities to assess the needs of patients and to provide assistance to the staff as well as be heavily involved in our public relations. They will be in office as well to assist with administrative duties.

This will be a 8-12 month committment with flexibility.

Qualifications:

-College graduate or currently in college (related field) i.e. healthcare, marketing, public outreach, business, administration, medical assistant, etc.

-Reliable transportation

-Excellect customer services skills

-At least 21 years of age

Hospice Volunteer Training is a program where we select qualified persons who can fit well with patients who have a terminal illness through several organizations. We match volunteers to Hospices where they will excel the most. We offer training and orientation, continued education for all volunteers, certificates of completion and excellence. Whether volunteers are students trying to gain experience or if you just want to give back to the community. We hope that we find individuals who can successfully achieve their goals and provide helpful assistance to Hospice organizations within the Los Angeles County.

Description

Hospice volunteers provide companionship to people living with a serious illness and help their families caregivers in a variety of ways. Hospice also rely on volunteers to help with office work, fund raising, community outreach and other operational areas.
