New part-time volunteering opportunites - Bazzeni Wellness Center
Are you over 21 yrs old and looking to get more involved with your local community? Do you enjoy working with older adults and seniors? Are you interesetd in receiving free training to facilitatie evidence-based programs and workshops? If this sounds like you, then the Bazzeni Wellness Center needs you!
The Bazzeni Wellness Center at St. Mary Medical Center is an active older adults club that offers health education seminars, healthy living workshops, an exercise program and many more services.
The skills we're looking for in you
- Ability to commit 2-4 hours once or twice a week
- Answering phones
- Data entry
- Helping host events
- Registering new members/renewing returning members
- Signing up members for classes/workshops/events
What we can offer you
- Valuable experience in facilitating activities for older adults clubs
- Training to lead evidence-based workshops and programs
- A supportive and encouraging environment in which to grow your skills and knowledge

Description
The Bazzeni Wellness Center is a place for older adults to socialize, participate in educational programs, receive human services and enjoy recreational activities. Designed to meet the special needs of the city's growing senior population, age 50 and older, the Wellness Center strives to provide adults with tools to manage and maintain optimum health.
