Remember talking with Grandma or Grandpa, heaaring their stories and seeing how excited they got about telling you about when they were young? We have many residents who just want someone to talk to. They are lonely and oftentimes have no one who visits with them at all. They just want to talk, have you read to them, look at their photos or simply take them outside to the courtyard so they can enjoy the beautiful weather that is coming! You can be a friend to someone in need.

Yes, we do require background check (but I handle that) and fingerprinting, so only one trip that you need to make and we pay for it and I will make it as easy as possible for you. You can even take the orientation packet home to work on it from the comfort of your own home.

I will train you, show you what to do and I will make sure you are comfortable before you are left on your own to visit. You even get to choose the resident you want to visit.

The schedule is completely flexible! You choose when you volunteer whether that's day time, evenings or weekends. There is NO set schedule so we work with you!

Please consider providing some company to someone who simply wants someone to talk to.
