Memory Pillows are special keepsakes which we offer to our Silverado Families for bereavement support. Memory pillow volunteers make pillows from articles of clothing pick out by family. Clothing such as: dress, sweater, scarf, pants, ect. The pillow filling and material will be provided by Silverado hospice. Each memory pillow is a one-of-a-kind treasure and a loving memento.

The process is as follows

  1. Our social worker will deliver the clothing and material to the Encino office. I can either take materials to your home or you may pick up from the Encino office.
  2. We tell families it will take 2-4 weeks to be made
  3. I can pick up the pillow when it is done or you can bring it to our office in Encino
