Good Shepherd Hospice is proud to be a We Honor Veterans partner. Veterans and active duty personnel are invited to volunteer as a part of this program. Volunteers visit patients who are Veterans to present a certificate and pin in honor of their service to our country, and spend time listening and sharing stories.
These volunteers may also provide outreach and education about hospice care to Veterans, or assist with Veterans Day events in nursing homes and assisted
living facilities.
If you are a veteran or on active duty and want to be a companion to a fellow veteran join Good Shepherd Hospice and become a We Honor Veterans volunteer.
