A chance to be a friend to a hospice patient. We have patients from all walks of life. There is no medicine like Friendship. One hour a week is all that is needed to make a difference in a life. Hospice is about living! We strive to improve quality of life, not just maintain it!! Spend time speaking about life experiences, playing a CD, shared interests, enjoying a puzzle, watching TV or just being a calming presence. Summit Hospice is proud of their volunteers and we are honored that our team chose their volunteer career to be with Summit. Together we do amazing work! We bring Ice Cream Socials to nursing homes, baby therapy, animal therapy, street fairs and more! Come and see what being a Summit Volunteer is all about!
