Would you enjoy being a DEPENDABLE friend who visits our hospice patients? Are you able to volunteer for a period of 6 months?
THEN WE NEED YOU!
Most hospice volunteers feel personally rewarded because they give time, energy and compassion. Seeing how much they are able to help patients and families is enriching.
Patient/family support includes dependable and dedicated companionship to the patient. Our patients can live in their own homes, nursing facilites, or hospitals. Patient volunteers can provide relief for the caregiver by making friendly visits, writing letters, reading to patients, light housekeeping, running errands, or preparing a favorite meal or dessert.
You could be a ray of sunshine for a hospice patient and their family!!!!!
We have patients in need of a volunteer in Killeen and all surrounding areas.
