Sometimes living in long-term care or assisted living can be lonely. We are looking for volunteers to visit one-on-one with residents who may be feeling lonely. Chat, read outloud, go for a walk, watch birds, play a card game, etc. Add value to our residents' day.
This is an ongoing opportunity, we are looking for someone interested in making a weekly commitment of between 30-90 minutes. Women, Men, and Families welcome. However, we currently have an imediate need for a male volunteer who has an interest in history or geography.
