Caring. Compassionate. Quality. Those are the three things we look for in a volunteer! Unity Hospice Care is looking for interested volunteers to join our office for a wide range of opportunities. Volunteers can visit with patients to provide companionship, company, emotional support, and even spend time on different meaningful activities and hobbies. If spending time with patients is not for you, Unity Hospice offers opportunities for volunteers to assist office staff with administrative work, such as making phone calls, filing, and other duties. Volunteers can also help patients and families by volunteering their time to make special items, such as blankets and quilts, hats, scarves, casseroles, cookies, etc. The opportunities are endless and we are open to new ideas!
Our office serves Hardin, Wayne, Decatur, Henderson, Humphreys, Lewis, and Lawrence Counties, TN.

Description
As a member of our Hospice Voluteer Program you will have the unique opportunity to offer care and comfort to terminally ill patients and their families, to contribute to the quality of their lives, and to support patients and familis in their bereavement process.
