Friendly Visiting is a program that pairs volunteers with homebound seniors to provide company and friendship.
We ask volunteers to commit to visit their senior match one time per week for a period of six months or more.
We are seeking volunteers to visit seniors who live between 96th and 145th street on the east side of Manhattan. Spanish speakers encouraged to apply!

Description
Lenox Hill Neighborhood House was founded in 1894 by the Alumnae Association of Normal College (now known as Hunter College of the City University of New York) as a free kindergarten for the children of indigent immigrants. Since then, we have remained at the forefront of community advocacy and social and educational change.
