The Senior Hub works with older adults who are usually home alone for the holidays. We are looking for volunteers who would like to "Adopt" a Senior and/or their Pet for Christmas and visit with them during the holiday. Volunteers will select a senior from our virtual Giving Tree and then bring them a gift from their "Wish List", along with a meal or dessert.
We also can use help with "Adopting" a seniors pet by purchasing pet food and/treats/toys for our clients with four-legged children.
This gives not only the volunteer a chance to help during the holiday season but gives our clients hope that someone in the community is thinking about them...

Description
We assist older adults in their homes with chores they find it difficult to do such as light housekeeping, shopping and errands, pet care, business help, and yard help. We always friendly visit with the seniors along with helping them around the house.
