Would your family be interested in reaching out to another family? FamilyMeans Caregiver Support Program is looking for families or parts of families that could help another family who has a caregiver helping their child, spouse, partner, mother, father, grandparent, sister, brother. The goal is to provide the caregiver a break while 1 or 2 family members spend time talking and visiting with the person being cared for (child, teen, adult, senior) who may have a disablity, memory loss, chrronic health condition or maay just be frail. Other family members could take out the trash, sweep the floor, rake leaves, shovel a sidewalk, fold clothes, change a light bulb or some small needed task.
The family can volunteer 1,2,3, or 4 times per month for 2,3 or 4 hours.
