Come help make Saturday afternoons a little brighter for the elderly patients at Sloan's Lake Rehabilitation by taking the snack cart around! Our snack volunteers come in at 2 or 3 pm on Saturdays (exact time is flexible!), load up a cart with snacks and drinks, and go room-to-room to visit the 52 seniors who temporarily call Sloan's Lake home and offer them something to eat or drink. Of course this often opens the door to enjoyable conversation as well! This is a great opportunity for families to volunteer together, or anyone that enjoys sharing a smile and a few words of conversation. Right now we are looking for a volunteer to take over the FIRST Saturday of each month. The application/orientation/training/background check can all be done online. Description
We are a new, 45-bed rehabilitation center on the shores of Sloan's Lake in Denver. We look forward to bringing in volunteers to help our residents have a more pleasant stay while they're with us.
