Who do seniors and adults with disabilities in Longmont call when a winter storm hits? Ice-Busters!
Volunteer with Ice-Busters to shovel snow and remove ice November through March. Prevent slips, trips, and falls by helping clients comply with city of Longmont sidewalk snow-removal laws. You'll be matched with a neighbor in need who lives close to your home.

About Cultivate
Location:

Mission Statement
Cultivate helps seniors flourish through active engagement with their community.
Description
For 50 years, Cultivate has dedicated itself to helping seniors flourish through active engagement with their communities. Volunteers can work directly with seniors or in other program support positions. Some people volunteer for one day; others sign on for years. Volunteers are always welcome! Our volunteers support our senior neighbors through the following programs:
Carry-Out Caravan - Grocery order-taking, shopping and delivery
Fix-It - Minor home repair including grab bar installation
VetsGo - Transportation for senior veterans and their senior family members to their medical appointments
SnowBusters - Snow shoveling in winter to help prevent falls and municipal citations
YardBusters - Yard cleanup to help prevent falls and municipal citations.
By providing services at no cost, Cultivate helps seniors remain independent, yet connected, within their communities. Beyond the medical rides, groceries or other services, Cultivate volunteers provide something even more transformational - reprieve from isolation. Both clients and volunteers benefit from the socialization with one another, and family members enjoy peace of mind, knowing that their loved ones are receiving much needed services from caring members of the community.
