This opportunity is for volunteers who are age 55+, have good listening skills and sensitivity to others' needs, and want to make a big difference in a senior's life. The Aging Clinic of the Rockies is looking for Peer Counselors, volunteers to provide one-on-one counseling to seniors in the area. This is a great opportunity to develop relationships, and make a deep commitment to service - it requires 8 weeks of training and a commitment of at least one year. No formal, professional training is required, just compassion and a willingness to learn!

The Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) of Volunteers of America provides volunteer opportunities for individuals 55 years and older to use their skills, insight and lifetime experiences to assist residents and non-profit agencies in the county. RSVP also offers a variety of programs which provide services and enhance the quality of life for seniors.
