RSVP is a federally funded volunteer program that matches anyone 55 and older with agencies and organizations that address critical national and community needs. Volunteers might be involved in food pantry preparation or delivery; providing transportation of people to or from a Dr appointment; tutoring and mentoring children; disaster preparedness or relief; exercise leadership and health education; or friendly visiting. Currently there are more than 50 potential volunteer locations on file with Helpline RSVP -- if none are exactly what you are looking for, we'll work with you to find the right opportunity!
Volunteers serve at community agencies and not at the Helpline Center. Helpline RSVP serves Lincoln, Minnehaha, Turner and Union counties in South Dakota.
