The Massachusetts Council of Human Service Providers’ is holding its 43rd Annual Convention & Expo on Monday, October 7th, Boston Marriott Copley Place, 110 Huntington Ave, Boston, MA.  This is an annual conference and expo and celebration for 1000 human service providers throughout the Commonwealth and includes a keynote presentation, education sessions, a tabletop trade show, luncheon, awards ceremony and afternoon reception. Lunch will be provided.

Volunteer activities: 7:30am - 4:00pm
-   On-Site Registration    
-   Exhibitor Registration/Check-In
-   Presenters, Sponsors, Board, VIP’s Check -In
-   Traffic Direction
-   Room Monitor for AM & PM workshops (you will be able to sit on in the educational session).

We will be assigning you tasks when you arrive and going over some important reminders for the day.  Your early arrival is critical to a smooth beginning to the Convention.  Registration begins promptly at 8:00am and is expected to be very hectic from 8:45-9:30am.  Things will wrap up by 4PM. We hope you join us!

Description

The Massachusetts Council of Human Service Providers, Inc. (Providers' Council) is a statewide association of primarily nonprofit private, community-based, care-giving organizations that provide human services, health, education and vocational supports. The Council offers high quality public policy research, advocacy, communication and information, education and training, research and cost saving programs to add value to our members and to help them reach their objectives.

The Council was founded in 1975 to influence and direct public policy change to support community-based services. As the state's largest human services trade association, it is widely recognized as the official voice of the private provider industry. The Council is a membership organization that receives its primary support from its members and its business partners.

The Council is governed by a diverse board of directors who are committed to the values of the corporation, which represent our broader community of diverse caregivers.

The Board supports the Council's mission: to promote a healthy, productive and diverse human services industry.
