ORGANIZATION: Project for Pride in Living (PPL)

Rediscover the joys of reading by volunteering as a Tutor-Mentor with PPL’s afterschool youth programs! We help students from low-income communities succeed in school through engaging activities in a positive environment that’s full of laughter and smiles.

PPL Leaders in New Hope is a tutoring and mentoring program for students in grades 6 th-8 th living in PPL’s affordable housing. Volunteer Tutor-Mentors are matched 1:1 or in small groups with youth to support social and academic growth through literacy tutoring (50 minutes each night), relationship-building, and enrichment activities.

Mondays, 4:30-7:30pm
