ORGANIZATION: Family Eldercare

Charlotte is 61 and very friendly. She loves visitors. Charlotte has a developmental disability and needs help sorting her mail and finances. She would also love to chat and have sparking conversation with a friendly face.

Help Charlotte stay independent by helping her with her monthly budget and by taking her on errands such as shopping or going to the bank.

Training is provided. Flexible schedules.

Visit at least 2 hours every month.

Description

Family Eldercare is a nonprofit agency that has been providing services to older adults, people with disabilities, and their caregivers in the Austin, Texas area since 1982. Programs and services include: housing and stability, in-home counseling, guardianship, virtual activities for isolated older adults, service coordination, and our annual summer fan drive.
