Volunteer needed to deliver holiday gift bags to Meals On Wheels of Tampa recipients!

Volunteers will pick up gift bags of from the Meals on Wheels of Tampa office located at 550 W. Hillsborough Ave between 9:30 and 10:30am. Direction and info sheets are provided.

Each routes contains 8-15 recipients. All stops are within a few miles of each other and the entire route takes 60-90 minutes to complete. When you are finished delivering your route, there is no need to return to our office.

All volunteers are required to complete a volunteer application found at https://mowtampa.volunteerhub.com/

Volunteer drivers must be 18 years old and do use their own vehicle and gas.

Families and groups are encouraged to participate together.

Description

Since 1975, Meals On Wheels of Tampa has been providing hot meals and daily volunteer visits to neighbors in need. Today, we serve over 800 recipients. Meals On Wheels of Tampa is a 4-star charity and relies on its community for support by not accepting government funding.
