Provide music for memory care residents - they are the perfect audience for aspiring musicians and hobbyists alike! Our residents enjoy classical music as well as the old favorites (big band, musicals, folk songs).

Instruments of all kinds welcome, though our small space and sensory-sensitive residents lend themselves better to more quiet offerings. We have a piano for your use. Residents can play along with you on small percussion instruments.

The best candidates would feel comfortable engaging residents in conversation between their musical selections and make their visit interactive. You will receive guidance from a Board-Certified Music Therapist.

Gianna Homes has two locations - Gladys' Place (listed here in Plymouth) and Gianna Homes - Sursum Corda (in Minnetonka). Both homes are just that - houses that are homes to residents with memory loss. Gladys' Place has 6 residents and Gianna Homes - Sursum Corda has 10 residents. Our mission is "providing memory care iwth a loving kindness that respects the dignity of each resident. Welcome Home!"
