Volunteers needed for Sunday December 25,2005 to help out with our Holiday Dinner, Volunteers need to 1)Deliver meals to home bound seniors (volunteers need to arrive at center at 9am)
2) Set up around the center, in the dinning room, and set tables for lunch (Volunteers will need to arrive around 9am)
3) Serving and clean up, Volunteer will serv meals in the dinning room at lunch time and help clean up,
**** volunteers are more than welcome to arrive at 9am and stay the full lenght, for volunteers who are not abe to stay the full lenth you are more than welcome to come for a short period of time,
I will discuss time slots with every volunteer

Description
The Stanley M. Isaacs Neighborhood Center reaches across generations and ethnic groups to serve more than 5,000 inner-city youngsters, adults, senior citizens and families. Our mission is to assist our neighbors in need to participate in the life of their community by improving their physical, educational, cultural and social well-being. Founded in 1964 in the settlement house tradition, our services include Meals on Wheels, adult day services, a senior center of over 1,800 members, after school and evening programs for children and teens, youth employment services, adult education classes, cultural and educational events and workshops, and parent education. The Isaacs Center is located in the Isaacs/Holmes public housing development on the boundary of the East Harlem and Yorkville communities.
