Do you enjoy interacting with people? Are you looking for a way to help others to enjoy everyday life by engaging in activities? This is a perfect opportunity for you!
I am seeking volunteers to assist with interactive activities such as Bingo, arts/crafts, and music. Volunteers will assist under the supervision of both the Avalon Hospice Volunteer Coordinator and the facility volunteer coordinator.
For the safety of those we serve, volunteers recruited for this special opportunity are subject to a background check and drug test prior to assisting with activities.

Avalon Hospice is comprised of a team of doctors, nurses, aids, social workers, chaplains, and volunteers. Our approach to hospice care considers the wide range of needs patients and families experience when facing a terminal illness. Avalon's collaborative team approach ensures patients' and their families' specific needs are targeted and addressed quickly.
